Quick fix: raise TiviMate's buffer size to Medium or Large, connect with Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, clear the device cache, and restart the router. These four steps solve most TiviMate buffering.

1. Set the right buffer size

In TiviMate go to Settings → Playback → Buffer size. The default can be too small for Wi-Fi. Medium suits most homes; Large helps on weaker connections.

4. Try a different DNS

Setting Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8) DNS on your router or device can make channels start faster.

5. Choose the right stream quality

If 4K stutters, switch to the FHD or HD version of the channel. A steady HD picture beats a 4K picture that freezes.
