In short: free TiviMate plays live TV with a guide from one playlist. Premium adds favourites management, catch-up, recording, multi-view and more playlists. If you watch every day on a TV, Premium is worth its small price. Either way, the channels come from your IPTV subscription.
Two separate things: the app and the channels
TiviMate Premium is paid to the app developer and unlocks player features. A TiviMate IPTV subscription is the TV service: the channels, guide and on-demand library. You always need a subscription; Premium is optional.

- Install TiviMate Companion on an Android phone from Google Play.
- Create an account and choose a yearly or lifetime plan.
- In TiviMate on your TV: Settings → Premium → sign in with the same account.
